BOOKING POLICY

Reservation timing

We recommend you allow approximately three hours for your experience. If you require to leave at a specific time, please let us know in advance so that we can adequately cater to your request.

Booking window

Reservations are essential and released three calendar months in advance, with new periods becoming available on the first Wednesday of each month at 03:00 pm AEST.

Cancellations

A $75.00 per person booking fee is payable in advance for dining reservations.

Three days' notice of cancellation or change of date is required, in which case a full refund applies. Bookings cancelled or changed within three days but with more than 24 hours notice will extend the prepayment to a future reservation. Your deposit will be forfeited if you cancel or change your date within 24 hours of your booking.

For reservations with six guests or more, seven days' notice of cancellation or change of date is required, in which case a full refund applies. Bookings cancelled or changed within five days but with more than 72 hours notice will extend the prepayment to a future reservation. Your deposit will be forfeited if you cancel or change your date within 72 hours of your booking.

Service charge and Surcharge

All credit card transactions will incur a 1.6% surcharge, this includes tap & pay transactions.

Groups of five or more guests attract a 10% service fee applied to the final bill.

Gift Vouchers

We are unable to accept vouchers that are not issued by Sixpenny. Menu and wine prices are subject to change without notice, and only the amount for which the gift voucher was purchased is redeemable.

Dining Room seating

Sixpenny is divided into two dining rooms, main and private - Main Dining Room reservations will be allocated a table in our larger dining room, boasting a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Private Dining Room reservations will be assigned a table in our smaller dining room, to the rear of the restaurant; a warm, intimate space with a view of our kitchen.

We will do our best to accommodate all requests regarding dining room seating; however, this is not guaranteed and is subject to availability and timing.

Dietary requirements

We are happy to modify the menu to cater to most dietary requirements; please inform us of any at booking.

Children

For safety reasons and the comfort of other guests, Sixpenny does not permit children under seven years of age. Due to the size of the restaurant, prams and strollers cannot be accommodated. We kindly ask that you would respect our policy when making a reservation.

Please also note that Sixpenny does not offer a children’s menu; our tasting menu can be varied slightly for older children if required.

Travelling to Sixpenny

Sixpenny is located in a residential area, with ample on-street parking located around the restaurant.

If you wish to travel via public transport, Stanmore station is a moments walk from the restaurant.
